NPFL: Plateau United Were The Better Team - Kano Pillars Coach

Sampson Adedeji

Kano Pillars head coach Ibrahim Musa has said they lost to a better team in their Matchday 32 fixture of the Nigeria Professional Football League, BSNsports.com.ng gathered.

Second-placed Plateau United defeated Pillars by a lone courtesy Jesse Akila and the manager of the Kano based team has praised his players but admitted that their opponent was better.

"We were not supposed to lose this match but we can't do anything because we lost from the strength.

"The strength of Plateau United is from throwing and we worked on that, we lost concentration that was why we conceded that goal, if not that we couldn't have lost.

"My players played well but I believe that we lost to a better team. We will maintain our position because we know we are not going anywhere but we will prepare for next season," he said.

The Sai Masu Gida are placed 16th on the NPFL log with 38 points from 31 games.
