NPFL: Rangers Int'l Engages Nutritionist Ahead of New Season

Rangers International have engaged the services of a nutritionist for their players ahead of the 2023/24 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

The nutritionist, according to the club, will oversee the quality of food and drinks intake of the players to aid their performance on and off the pitch.

The management of the club confirmed the appointment of an international acclaimed nutritionist Mrs Winifred Nwabunike.

“The importance of a nutritionist in a team cannot be over-emphasized hence our drive to get one who is of international repute,” the club chairman Barrister Amobi Ezeaku stated during her introduction to the player.

“It is our hope and desire that her services will in no small measure, help us achieve our target for the season.

“I am sure that with the right advice on food and liquid intakes for the players and officials, we are on the right path towards reclaiming our top place in the Nigerian and continental football scene.”
