Remo Stars have shot to the top of the Nigeria Premier League after a 2-1 defeat of Sporting Lagos in a tension soaked game in Ikenne on Sunday.

It was the first time Sporting Lagos goalkeeper Christian Nwoke conceded a goal after having clean sheet after four league games.

Plateau United could only score one goal to pick the maximum three points against Sunshine Stars as Abia Warriors lost 0-2 to the home team, Lobi Stars at the Lafia City Stadium.
