The Pride of Rivers has recorded back-to-back defeats against Sunshine Stars and Abia Warriors in the past 2 matches.

The Rivers State-based club faced Niger Tornadoes on Sunday and their final rescheduled game and recorded a 3-2 win.

Skipper Nyima Nwagua put the host ahead in the 16th minute before Udom Ekrette made it 2-0 in the 21st minute.

Clinton Jephta scored the 3rd goal in the 60th minute before Sadiq Abubakar reduced the deficit in the 63rd minute.

The atmosphere became charged in the 77th minute when Bashir Usman made it 3-2 from the penalty spot in the 77th minute.
