The concluding matches of the matchday 27 of the Nigeria Professional Football League were held on Sunday when Rivers United mauled MFM FC with unreplied goals, BSNsports.com.ng can report.


Esor Nelson gave Rivers United the lead against MFM FC in the 17th minute before Chijioke Akunneto completed his brace, while George Akpabio and Ishaq Rafiu sealed the game with the 4th and 5th goals.


Two goals in 6 minutes from Jerry Eze and Auwali Ali ensured that Kano Pillars secured a 2-1 win after Samad Kadiri gave Kwara United an early lead 


In Ibadan, Shooting Stars defeated Niger Tornadoes by a lone goal courtesy Moses Omoduemeke's 7th-minute strike.


At the Aper Aku Stadium, Lobi Stars came from a goal down to beat Katsina United 2-1.


Endurance Edebiri and Nanen Imenger strike cancelled out Mustapha Salisu first-half goal.


Ridwan Adeshina and Fuad Ekelojuoti were the goal scorers as Wikki Tourists defeated Dakkada FC 2-0.


Nasarawa United beat Plateau United 2-1 with goals from Sunday Okereke and Chinedu Ohanacom while Chimezie Izuchukwu scored the only goal of the away side.


Victor Mbaoma was the hero at the Goodwill Akpabio Stadium as he scored a leveller for Enyimba in the 90th minute after Babatunde Bello has given Akwa United an early goal.


Abdulquadir Alege netted the only goal of the game in Gombe United 1-0 win over Sunshine Stars.
