NPFL: Salisu Hails Heartland Victory As Key Morale Booster

Nasarawa United's technical adviser, Salisu Yusuf, has hailed his side’s narrow 1-0 victory over Heartland as a major morale booster, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Anas Yusuf’s decisive goal secured all three points for Nasarawa United against relegation-threatened Heartland in Sunday’s encounter at the Pantami Stadium.

Speaking after the match, Salisu expressed satisfaction with his players' efforts and pledged that the team would continue to battle for every available point as the season draws to a close.

“This win is a significant morale booster for our team, and we are proud of every player’s effort,” Salisu said during his post-match interview.

“With three games left before the season ends, our focus is on taking each match as it comes and fighting hard for every point,” he added.

Nasarawa United currently occupy 13th place on the NPFL table with 46 points.
