Following their poor performance in the ongoing Nigeria Premier League season, the chairman of Niger Tornadoes Engr Ibrahim Dada Sunday has warned the players to up their game and get good results or be booted out, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

After 9 rounds of matches Tornadoes are second from the bottom, a situation that did not go down well with the club management.

"There are some teams that would promise you high wages during negotiations and end up not meeting up, this is not the case with us, so there is no reason whatsoever not give us your best. I want to assure you, for the umpteenth time that, Niger Tornadoes is not a owing club, which most of you here can testify to".

"Enough is enough; we are not going to seat and watch things deteriorate further, neither would we condone anymore lack of seriousness and disloyalty from any player".

"I don't want division in my team; your loyalty, is to the team, not to any individual, be it a coach or any management member".

"There are insinuations in some quarters that you guys are being pampered too much, which I don't want to agree to as the cause of our dwindle in performance".

"Many teams have faced similar situation like ours, but they survived, I'm therefore equally optimistic that our current situation is surmountable but we have to be to willing, courageous and determined to collectively strive to overcome this, for us, it is still redeemable".

"And just like I've always said and I will maintain my stands, I believe in situs, but you need to prove that you are worth my trust by going any more and proving the naysayers wrong, otherwise we would be left with no option than to take drastic measures", he told the club media.

The Ikon Allah Boys are billed to trade tackles with Akwa United this sunday at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium Kaduna, in a must-win NPFL match day ten tie.
