NPFL: Shooting Stars’ scoring problem worries Ogunbote

By Admin

Shooting Stars head coach, Gbenga Ogunbote has promised to fix the team’s goal-scoring problem.

The Oluyole Warriors were held to a 0-0 draw by Enyimba at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Adamasingba, Ibadan on Sunday.

The Ibadan club have scored three goals in six league outings this season.

Ogunbote lamented the inability of his boys to convert chances created against the People’s Elephants.

“This is a big challenge for us. Our inability to take risks has contributed to this, if we had taken enough risk in this game, we would have been able to get something, but it’s a continuous thing,” he told the club’s media.

“We will continue to train them, to make them understand our philosophy.”

Shooting Stars will play away to Rivers United at the Adokiye Amiesimaka stadium, port Harcourt on Thursday.
