NPFL: Shooting Stars Coach Rates Nasarawa United As Good Side

Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) head coach, Nurudeen Aweroro, has admitted that Nasarawa United are a strong and quality side following his team’s narrow defeat to the Solid Miners in their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) clash on Monday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Oluyole Warriors suffered a slim loss in the encounter, and Aweroro, while expressing disappointment with the result, was full of praise for their opponents’ performance.

“It’s a disappointing result for us today, but we are grateful to God for the outcome,” Aweroro said after the game.

 “Nasarawa United are not a bad side. It’s a team with great quality, and they won today because luck was on their side.

“However, we won’t relent until we achieve our goal for the season. As per our next game, we will regroup and take advantage over the next game,” he added.

Despite the setback, Shooting Stars will look to bounce back in their next fixture as they continue their push to meet their targets for the current NPFL campaign.
