NPFL: Sporting Lagos Coach Reveals Reason Behind Excellent Performance

The head coach of the newly promoted club Sporting Lagos, Paul Offor, has revealed the reason behind the rise of the Lagos-based team, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Less than three years into the formation of the team, Sporting Lagos has become a team of the moment across the country.

Apart from securing promotion to the Nigeria Premier League, the club also won the maiden edition of the Naija Super 8 beating the big guns in Nigeria football.

Offor who last coached in the Benin Republic league with Djeffa FC said the team has clear objectives and also has the intention to grow.

“It feels good that you set objectives at the beginning of the season and you achieve it. 

And the most important thing is the structure of the club. Sporting Lagos is very intentional about growth", he told Punch correspondent.

Elite football will return to Lagos in the coming season after a season off due to the defunct of MFM FC who suffered relegation.
