NPFL: Sunshine Stars Declare Salisu, Obiazor AWOL

Sunshine Stars have issued a statement declaring that Seidu Salisu and David Obiazor wanted, for leaving the club without official permission, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The two players, according to the club, have yet to return to training with their teammates after the New Year break.

"Sunshine Stars warn clubs and agents not to engage with Salisu and Obiazor regarding transfers without the club's consent," the statement read.

 "The club also notifies the Nigeria Premier Football League that the players are still under contract with Sunshine Stars, and any attempt by other football clubs to illegally secure their services will result in legal action."

The Akure Gunners will continue their resurgence when they face Ikorodu City on the opening day of the second stanza of League next weekend.
