NPFL: Sunshine Stars Declare Two Players Missing

Ahead of the resumption of the second stanza of the league, the management of Sunshine Stars has declared two of its players missing, BSNsports.com.ng understand


According to report coming from the team camp, the duo Bello Babatunde and Bolu Shomalumade went AWOL from the team training.



"Aunshine Stars FC (SSFC) wishes to make public the sudden and unlawful disappearance of its licensed players, Babatunde Bello and Bolu Sholumade.



Bello and Sholumade has been away from the Club since the end of the 2021/22 NPFL first stanza without an offcial leave, while the rest of the group have since resumed preparations for the final half of the season.



Consequently, Sunshine Stars warned that any outfit or agent approaching Bello and Sholumade for transfer while the player is under a binding contract risk facing a serious legal battle with the Club



This is also for the notice and consideration of all concerned stakeholders," the statement read
