NPFL: Two Referees Suspended, Face Panel

Following their questionable calls in recent matches, the Nigeria Football Federation Referees Appointment Committee has suspended two referees and also summoned them to appear before the panel, BSNSports.com.ng report.

The referee's committee on Tuesday evening announced that the center referee that officiated Shooting Stars versus Kwara United game in the NPFL Match-day 2, Ndubuisi Ukoh (Imo) and Assistant Referee II Otuwho Morrison (Delta).

Also affected is Faro Abdulrahman who was in charge of the game between Rivers United and Niger Tornadoes in the match-day 3 played on Tuesday.

"The following Referees are hereby suspended until they appear before the Referee's Committee for explanation on what happened in their matches they were involved as follows: -

1. SHOOTING STARS VS KWARA UTD

NDUBUISI UKAH - IMO

OTUWHO MORRISION - DELTA - ASST. REF II

2. RIVERS UTD VS NIGER TORNADOES. FARO ABDULRAHMAN - LAGOS", the statement said.
