NPFL: We Are Happy That We Survive Relegation - Niger Tornadoes Coach

With one round of the games to go, Head Coach of Niger Tornadoes, Abubakar Bala Mohammed believed the team has survived the relegation, BSNsports.com.ng has gathered.

Tornadoes on Sunday at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna defeated Heartland FC 2-1 to move out of the relegation zone.

During the post-match reaction, the coach lamented about playing the whole season away from home but expressed his joy over the result.

"Today is one of the happiest moments of my coaching career because we played 37 matches away from home and by the grace of God with this win, I believe we are going to survive relegation.

"It was a difficult season for Niger Tornadoes playing away from home, we worked very hard and with the support of Kaduna fans we'll scale through," he said.

The win over Heartland took Tornadoes garnered 49 points from 37 matches and placed 11th on the table.
