NPFL: We Are Not Going Destabilize Rivers Utd Team -Eguma

Head coach of the Nigeria Professional Football League champions Rivers United, Stanley Eguma has made it clear that they are not ready to destabilize the team with new players, BSNsports.com.ng reports.

Despite losing 2-1 to Nasarawa United on Matchday 35 on Sunday in Lafia, the Pride of Rivers had been crowned the champion of the league.

During a post-match reactions, Eguma said they are going to maintain the players that won the title but will look into one or two areas that needed to be strengthened.

"We have a team on the ground that performed well this season, so we are not thinking of destabilizing the team to bring in new players.

"All that we draw us backwards, all we need do is to look at one or two areas that we are lacking and proffer solutions to it," he said.

Apart from winning the league, Rivers United will also represent the country in the 2022/2023 CAF Champions League.
