NPFL: We made Costly Errors Against Nasarawa United– Kabiru Dogo

El-Kanemi Warriors head coach, Kabiru Dogo, has admitted that Nasarawa United made the most of his team’s costly mistakes in their 3-0 defeat on Sunday in Lafia, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Maiduguri-based club endured a difficult outing as Nasarawa United cruised to a comfortable win, a result that Dogo believes reflected the difference in quality and concentration on the day.

Speaking after the match, the former Nasarawa United coach praised the opponents for their performance but highlighted that his team handed them opportunities.

“It’s a tough game for us today. I congratulate Nasarawa United on the win; they deserved it because they were the better side,” Dogo said.

“They punished three errors committed by one of our best players, but that is football.”

Dogo insisted that the defeat will not derail their ambition for the season, stressing that the league campaign is a long journey. 

“The league is still a marathon. We will make adjustments where we faltered. The road trips are exhausting for us, but we will keep pushing.”

El-Kanemi Warriors will look to bounce back when they return to action in their next NPFL fixture.
