NPFL: Wikki Tourists Secure Naziru Auwalu Signing

Wikki Tourists have completed the signing of experienced midfielder Naziru Auwalu ahead of the 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Auwalu joined the Bauchi-based side on a free transfer after leaving Kano Pillars at the end of last season when his contract expired.

He has penned a two-year deal with Abdullahi Maikaba’s team.

The 26-year-old midfielder is expected to bring stability and creativity to the heart of Wikki’s midfield as they look to make a strong impression this season.

The Bauchi Elephants will kick off their campaign with a tough matchday one clash against Plateau United on Friday, August 22, at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium.
