NPFL 24: Abia Warriors Are Enyimba 'Baby Club' - Official Boast

Coach Lawrence Ukaegbu of Enyimba FC has boasted that their state rivals, Abia Warriors are a 'baby club' to the People's Elephants of Aba, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

Enyimba picked the three points in the 2023/2024 Match Day 33 Abia Derby at the Umuahia Township Stadium in their quest to retain the league. 

The Enyimba coach also reiterated the commitment of the team to emerge champions of the league again. 

"I am so happy about the whole thing. I knew that it was going to be a tough match. It is always a derby match. We deserved to win. We are going for something. 

"I believe we will come out retaining the league. We are having our league. We want to grab the league again. We will have it. I feel so great winning them both home and away because they are our baby club. We need to win them both home and away."
