NPFL 24: Agoye Dedicates Sunshine Stars Victory Over Doma United to Ondo Gov, Late Kit Manager

Head Coach of Sunshine Stars, Edith Agoye has dedicated his team's 2-0 victory over Doma United to the departed Governor of Ondo State and the Team's Kit Manager, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

Agoye, who said the team won the Match Day 16 Nigeria Premier Football League tie with Doma United to the departed souls, hailed his team for the victory. 

Agoye appreciated the teaming fans who came out in large numbers to cheer his team to victory. 

"My team scored beautiful goals. I'm glad we finished the game in style. The win is absolutely important for us. We knew what we wanted and how to get and we did it."

Goals from Isaac Emmanuel and Opeoluwa Olufemi in the 20th and 47th minutes respectively was all Sunshine Stars needed to pick the maximum three points against visiting Doma United.

The match started few minutes past four as players and officials of both sides observed a minute silence for Sunshine Stars Assistant Kit Manager, Taiwo Dosumu and Governor Rotimi Akeredolu who passed on.
