NPFL 24: Governor Threatens to Dump Gombe United Over Poor Performance

Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has threatened to stop funding the state-owned club, Gombe United over poor performance, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The governor spoke on the current situations at Gombe United, who are 14th on the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, table. 

Speaking on a Television programme, the governor said each month Gombe United received 12M while Doma United earns nothing from the Government.

According to him; "Gombe United should sit up and do things in the right way or he will dump the team and team up with Doma United because they are all football teams."
