NPFL 24: Lobi Stars Sue For Calm From Fans

Lobi Stars of Makurdi has called on its teeming fans and supporters to remain calm ahead of the last round of matches in the 2023/2024 NPFL season, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

A statement by the club's Director of Media, Uja Emmanuel said that under the leadership of the Vice Chairman and CEO, Dominic Iorfa, the Pride of Benue will bounce back to winning ways. 

The statement reads: "The management wishes to state clear that the NPFL title is still open and Lobi Stars Football Club of Makurdi are in contention and favourite for a slot to represent the country.

"We are also aware of this huge responsibility, and as such gone back to the drawing board, using the one month break to fine tune the team and get the players ready for the great task ahead.

"We call on our supporters to continue to pray for the "Yes Father Boys" until the last game as hope is not yet lost, what happened is temporary set up, Lobi will bounce back."
