NPFL 24: Mizo Excited With Bayelsa United Victory Over Rangers

Bayelsa United prolific goal scorer, Robert Mizo has expressed joy over his team's two-nil victory over Rangers Int'l on MatchDay 13 of the Nigeria Premier Football League, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

Goals from Kehinde Lawal and Ekeson Okorie ensured that the Yenegoa-based side extended their unbeaten run in the league to five games. 

Mizo, who has scored nine goals and had one assist noted that the team will keep fighting to escape the drop.

He said: "I'm grateful for the positive result on Sunday. We got all three points as a team. We will keep fighting till the very end."

Bayelsa United recorded their first clean sheet in the NPFL season to become the last team to record at least a clean sheet in the 2023/24 NPFL season.
