NPFL 24: Offor Targets Away Victory Against Abia Warriors

Paul Offor has set his target for Sporting Lagos first away win in the 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, when they confront Abia Warriors in Umuahia, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

Offor's newly promoted side, who have endured a tough start in Nigerian top-flight football tasked his players to step-up and prove their mettle in the league. 

According to him; "I have always told them that I believe in them and I know that what we need is one result away that will help us and we need to find it and hopefully we are able to do it against Abia Warriors.

"Unfortunately the table is not saying how we good we are. It's something we will continue to work. It's the table that will tell you the quality of players in your team. 

"It's a challenge to all of us to showcase your quality. When you don't win, everybody begins to question your ability. We have to continue winning to prove that we have the right quality."

The Lagos-based side, who defeated Katsina United in their last home game after series of uninspiring results would seek for their first victory on the road when they face Abia Warriors.
