NPFL 24: Ogunbote, Jeptha Win League Bloggers Best Manager, Player Award

Shooting Stars coach Gbenga Ogunbote has emerged winner of the League Bloggers Manager of the Month award for April, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

Ogunbote led his club to four wins in the five matches played to edge his closest rivals Stanley Eguma of Rivers United, Fidelis Ikechukeu of Rangers, and Majin Mohhamed of Niger Tornadoes to claim the award for the first time this season.

In the players’ category, Clipton Jeptha of Niger Tornadoes won the award ahead of Remo Stars hitman Sikiru Alimi, Deputy Echeta of Rivers United, Micheal Ibe of Katsina United, Junior Lokosa of Sporting Lagos, and Ubong Friday of Akwa United

The striker led his club to three wins in five matches scoring five goals for the Minna-based side.

Also, Deputy Echeta's goal for Rivers United against Plateau United emerged as April's Fans Goal of the Month, powered by 54 football and supported by NPFL Tori.
