Sunshine Stars defensive midfielder, Osimaga Duke is confident about the chances of his team to beat the drop at the end of the current campaign in the NPFL, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Duke, who has been a key figure in the Sunshine Stars team and having featured in all their league matches said their chances of escaping relegation is 90%.

According to him, all hands must be on deck to ensure that the Owena Whales maintain their top-flight status at the end of the season. 

"It's a good one for us. We the players, coaches and management knew this match was very important to us. So, we had to do our best for the three points. 

"Our chances of escaping relegation are 90% for us because we have a home game against Bendel Insurance. We need to bring out our best by playing the way we did against Rivers United. 

"The new Commissioner is doing his best. Everybody has to bring out their best because the Commissioner has to do his part and the players are doing their part. Since he came in, he is doing well."
