A brace from Deputy Echeta was all Rivers United needed to beat Enyimba FC 2-0 in an NPFL rescheduled matchday 14 tie decided in Port Harcourt, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

Echeta put up a five star performance alongside a dominant team display from the Pride of Rivers to beat the defending champions.

Since losing 2-0 to the Young Africains in April 2023, Rivers United are unbeaten in 15 home games in all competitions while Enyimba's hope to push further on the log suffered a major setback.
