Coach Ken Chukwu of Rivers United has declared that the team will bounce back stronger after suffering a two-nil defeat to Abia Warriors in a rescheduled NPFL encounter, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

According to him, the Pride of Rivers, who have only picked a point in their outstanding matches will go home and tighten all loose areas. 

He noted that Rivers United is a team with character and a continental team that won't complain about the congested fixtures but strives harder to get the desired results. 

"When the game changes, fatigued and you can imagine the number of matches we have played overtime. Our team is a champion and continental team. Rivers United don't complain. We take the game as we have seen it. We will go home and tighten all loose areas. 

"Rivers United is a team with character. We have not lost our character. We only lost today. We will bounce stronger and better. We will do our best and keep doing our best to cooperate with the medical team."

Rivers United will round-up their outstanding matches this weekend in Port Harcourt when they confront Niger Tornadoes.
