NPFL 25: Abia Warriors Captain To Miss Shooting Stars Clash

Abia Warriors Skipper, Augustine Njoku is set to miss the clash with Shooting Stars after suffering a hamstring injury in the match against Katsina United, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The captain, alongside Prince Okorie are ruled out for the intriguing Nigeria Premier Football League encounter at the Umuahia Township Stadium.
Also, Abia Warriors goalkeeper, Nmecha Johnson is back from injury as the battle for the promotion ticket continues.
After 34 games, Abia Warriors are 4th on the league table with 53 points, while the Stars from Ibadan are occupying the 9th position with 48 points from the same number of matches.
The match is billed for Sunday, April 27, 2025, at the Umuahia Township Stadium, by 4.00pm.
