NPFL 25: Abia Warriors Ready For Katsina United Test - Augustine Njoku

Abia Warriors Captain, Augustine Njoku believes that the Pride of Abia will bounce back to winning ways against Katsina United, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

After a disappointing 1-0 loss to Rivers United in Port Harcourt on Sunday, Abia Warriors Football Club of Umuahia will clash against visiting Katsina United in an NPFL midweek fixture at the Umuahia Township Stadium.

According to the skipper, "Well, it's a game of football and it has not been a good one for us because of the results lately, I believe against Katsina United we are going to get it right. I will say it's a test game for us and I believe we are going to get the maximum three points here at Umuahia Township Stadium.

"We are ready, we are always ready. You know in a game of football, sometimes you have your sag time and your surge time, and I believe we are going through our tough time lately. But going forward, starting from Katsina United game, I believe Warriors are ready."

The last time Katsina United locked horns with Abia Warriors at the Umuahia Township Stadium, the Warriors were 2-1 winners.

Abia Warriors will welcome Katsina United on Wednesday, 27th November 2024, at the Umuahia Township Stadium, in a Matchday 14 fixture of the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League.
