NPFL 25: Abia Warriors Targets Remo Stars Scalp In Ikenne

After recording their third consecutive win in the Nigeria Premier Football League with a 1-0 victory over Bayelsa United in Umuahia at the weekend, Abia Warriors say they have shifted attention to the next encounter against league leaders, Remo Stars in Ikenne on Wednesday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Buoyed by the results in their last three games, Abia Warriors Skipper, Augustine Njoku, while speaking with the club's media, expressed optimism of a positive result in Ikenne.

"As they say, victory begets victory, and we are now three games unbeaten, and three games getting maximum points. And we are going to Ikenne this Wednesday to fight because that game is equally going to be a fight, and we're going there to fight for the maximum three points; God is on our side, we can do it.

"I believe (in) my team and I believe everything (is possible). We have worked so hard and I believe we can equally get the maximum three points."

Meanwhile, Umu Chineke has arrived at Ikenne in Ogun State, the venue of the epic encounter.
