NPFL 25: Abia Warriors Will Give 100% Against Akwa United - Afolabi

After the disappointing loss to league leaders Remo Stars in Ikenne last Wednesday, Abia Warriors defender Isaac Afolabi said they had put that result behind them and are now poised for the next Nigeria Premier Football League task against neighbours Akwa United, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Despite taking a two-goal lead, Umu Chineke went on to capitulate to a 3-2 loss in the matchday 21 fixture, a result Abia Warriors left-back Afolabi attributed to a loss of concentration.

The young left-back has now assured the Warriors teeming fans of a 100% performance against Akwa United on Sunday.

 "We are more than 100% ready for the game because we lost our away game, so we are expected to be giving our 100% on that day because we need the maximum three points. It's for our good and as well good for the team in general."

The Warriors will be hoping to get the better of a side that forced them to a one-all draw in the reverse fixture at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.
