Abia Warriors gaffer, Imama Amapakabo has declared that his side won't underrate Kano Pillars when both sides clash in the 2024/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Abia Warriors will welcome Kano Pillars at the Umuahia Township Stadium this Sunday in a Matchday 4 encounter of the NPFL. Umuahia Chineke did a league double over the Sai Masu Gida side last season, triumphing over them first in Umuahia, and going ahead to beat the Pillars at the Sani Abacha Stadium in the reverse fixture, when a second half wonder strike from Abia Warriors midfield maestro, Daniel Ijeh, decided the tie. Amapakabo noted that the game will be a difficult one considering the last result of the opponents. "Every team that loses at home will want to go out in the next game to regain the lost points. Pillars is a team you will never underrate despite that home loss. We will give them their due respect, they too I think should also give us our due respect because they know that we need to get back to winning ways too. "It's going to be an exciting game. Both sides I think will want to play football so, I think it's going to be a wonderful sight for the spectators to come and behold. I know it's going to be an exciting game, a difficult game like any other game we're going to play this season."
