NPFL 25: Bosso Sues For Calm To Turnaround Bayelsa United

Precious Oham

Bayelsa United head coach Ladan Bosso has pleaded with fans of the club to give his team time to turn around the fortunes of the club, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Prosperity Boys on Sunday secured their first away point in the 2024/2025 NPFL against Nasarawa United in a Matchday Five encounter decided at the Lafia City Stadium having dropped points to Rangers. Bosso in a post-match interview, said the team was gradually making remarkable progress in the league after Matchday five, describing the dropped point as unfortunate. "It's unfortunate for Nasarawa United not to have picked the three points today. It was equally unfortunate for us not to have picked the three points here. But God has His way of doing things. "Both teams are work in progress. Both Coach Dogo (Kabir) and I need little time to go places." According to him, the performance of the team in the last two games indicates the level of the onward movement of the team, stating that with time the Prosperity Boys will win games without stress. He praised the doggedness of his youthful side in the last two games in the league, saying that the team's current position on the log is not a true reflection of the lads' performance on the pitch. He hailed his team’s effort in creating scoring opportunities but noted that the team's inability to convert their chances would soon be a thing of the past. Bayelsa United will next face Plateau United on Sunday at the Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenagoa in a Matchday six fixture.
