NPFL 25: El-Kanemi Warriors Coach Targets Unbeaten Run

Following El-Kanemi Warriors 1-0 win over Enyimba FC in Matchday 8 of the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League, Coach Munir Abdulazeez has set sights on going unbeaten in the season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Abbas Usman's first-half strike was all the Maiduguri-based side needed to amass the maximum points against the People's Elephants.

Speaking after the very entertaining encounter, Abdulazeez commended his opponents for pushing them to their limits, describing Enyimba as a top-rated side in Nigeria.

He noted that Elkanemi and Rivers United remain the only unbeaten sides in the league this season, adding that they hope to maintain the momentum.

While thanking God for the victory, he, however, praised the fans for their intimidating turnout, saying it proves that peace has continued to return to Maiduguri.
