The much-anticipated Oriental Derby between Enyimba FC and Rangers International ended in a goalless affair, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Both sides failed to hit the back of the net in a keenly contested match day 15 tie in the ongoing 2024/2024 NPFL season.

The People's Elephant dominated the early proceedings as the likes of Clinton Jeptha and Ifeanyi Ihemekwele failed to hit the target.

Before the break, Imo Obot saw his well-placed free kick handled brilliantly by the Rangers goalie, Lucky Abdullahi.

Despite the second-half substitutions by both gaffers, both sides failed to break the deadlock in front of an appreciable crowd at the Enyimba Stadium.

The People's Elephant will now shift attention to continental engagement while Rangers hosts table-toppers, Rivers United in the league.
