Enyimba FC and Rangers International, who were in action in the continent returned to league action for their outstanding matches, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

 Enyimba secured the maximum points off struggling Lobi Stars in Aba with a comfortable 2-1 victory. Chinedu Ufere had opened the scoring for the People's Elephant in the 14th minute before Eze Ekwutoziam doubled their lead from the spot two minutes later. Despite pulling a goal back in the 36th minute via Waheed Adebayor, the Pride of Benue suffered another defeat in the ongoing 2024/2025 NPFL season. In Lagos, Rangers International got the better of debutants Ikorodu City FC by a lone goal. Ugwueze Chinemerem's headed goal from Kazeem Ogunleye's exquisite corner delivery was enough to give Rangers the maximum points away from home.
