NPFL 25: Enyimba Will Fight For Maximum Points Against Rangers - Olanrewaju

Ahead of the much-anticipated Oriental Derby between Enyimba FC and Rangers International, Yemi Olanrewaju said his side will fight for the maximum points against their rivals, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

The stage is set for the iconic Oriental Derby, where historic rivalries and high-stakes competition take centre stage as the People's Elephant will square off against the Flying Antelopes at the Enyimba Stadium, Aba.

Fresh from a tough outing in the CAF Confederation Cup against Egypt's Al Masry, Enyimba's gaffer has emphasized the importance of bouncing back domestically. 

"The players don’t need to be reminded of the rivalry. We are fully aware of its significance, and we’re channeling all our energy into getting a positive result in the league before thinking about our next continental tie."

Despite injuries sidelining some key players, the coach expressed confidence in the depth of his squad.

"We have a large squad capable of stepping up. We’ll soldier on and fight for a result."
