NPFL 25: Home Support Will Give Tornadoes Advantage Over Rangers - Okoro

Niger Tornadoes midfielder, Victor Okoro, has expressed confidence ahead of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) match day 19 encounter against Rangers International, on Sunday, at the Bako Kontagora Stadium, Minna, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The midfielder, who featured in Tornadoes' 2-1 away defeat to Kano Pillars, last weekend, revealed that the team is ready to get back to winning ways at home.

He acknowledged that the support of the home fans will give his side the advantage over their opponents.

 "Yes, we're ready and prepare to get back to winning ways, with a victory against a tough side like Rangers.

"We know that they're one of the best ball- playing side in the league, but we are playing at home and in front of our supporters, which will give us a big advantage going into the game.

"However, we will work hard to secure the maximum points at the end of the game, so it's an important game for us." 

The Enugu-born midfielder has been an important player for the Minna based club this season, and will be expecting to put up a good performance against the current NPFL champions this weekend.
