In their debut season in Nigeria's top-flight, Ikorodu City FC has moved into third position on the log in the 2024/2025 NPFL season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Shola Adelani's 9th goal of the campaign ensured that the Oga Boys compounded the woes of Lobi Stars with a crucial one-nil away win in Enugu.

The Oga Boys have now leapfrogged Shooting Stars to third on the log with 44 points after the Ibadan-based side suffered a narrow defeat to Katsina United.

Elsewhere, Rivers United edged visiting Niger Tornadoes 1-0 to maintain the second position, while league leaders Remo Stars lost 2-1 to Bendel Insurance in Benin.
