NPFL 25: Ilechukwu Anticipates Tough Rangers, Remo Stars Clash

Fidelis Ilechukwu of Rangers International says the Match day 4 NPFL encounter with Remo Stars will be a difficult clash, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The reigning NPFL champions will this weekend be targeting a splendid result in a match day 4, NPFL 2024/2025 fixture against vice-champions of last season, Remo Stars F.C of Ikenne at their backyard, Remo Stars Stadium. With both teams out of the continental competitions, the die is cast for an interesting encounter as the ‘Flying Antelopes’ push to stabilize its resolve for a successful title defense while the Ikenne side chase a first title win. Speaking ahead of the crunch tie, Ilechukwu said, “Remo Stars is currently the best side in the league with so much energy and quality and I know it’s going to be a difficult match but we are always positive in what we can achieve. "We need to build on the success we achieved in Lagos against Ikorodu City and hope for a positive result in Ikenne.” The match day 4, NPFL 2024/2025 fixture is expected to kickoff by 5:30 pm on Sunday, September 29, 2024.
