NPFL 25: Katsina United Management Sacked After Heavy Defeat To Ikorodu City

Katsina State government has sacked the management of Katsina United following the heavy defeat to Ikorodu City FC, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Katsina United suffered a 6-0 drubbing to the Oga Boys in a rescheduled NPFL encounter decided at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena Onikan Lagos.

A statement from the club reads: "Katsina State government has relieved the substantive management of Katsina United FC from their duties following the six-goal defeat against Ikorodu City FC on MD 31 of the ongoing league.

"Those relieved from their duties are as follows:- Gaddafi Muammar Rudwan, Abbas Tukur, Abdullahi Umar Leda Danja, Yasir Yahayya and Abubakar Adidas.

 "The suspension takes effect immediately, and they are advised to hand over the affairs of the club to the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Sports and a Team of two other personnel appointed by the Commissioner of Youths and Sports who are to supervise the conduct of the state darling team Katsina United FC before further directives."
