Majin Mohammed of Niger Tornadoes has expressed excitement after his side defeated Kwara United 2-1 in the North Central derby, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

It was a dramatic finish to the match day 21 NPFL encounter involving Niger Tornadoes and Kwara United played at the Bako Kontagora Stadium Minna.

The Ikon Allah Boys secured another impressive victory, making it back-to-back wins, thanks to Ifeanyi Okechukwu's outstanding performance.

Majin said in his post-match reactions: "I knew that the match would not be easy, looking at how results involving the two teams had been in the last two seasons, it was a draw in both legs last season and we won in Ilorin in the first leg this season.

"They also came here to see if they can equally get something, but thanks God we lived up to the expectations and got the three points."

Up Next for Niger Tornadoes is another North Central derby against Nasarawa United.
