NPFL 25: Majin Excited To End Rangers Dominance Over Tornadoes
Precious Oham
Majin Mohammed of Niger Tornadoes has expressed excitement to have ended the dominance of Rangers International over his team, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Ismail Sarki's debut goal and Ifeanyi Okechukwu's rocket shot, either side of the half, made the difference as the Ikon Allah Boys ran away with a famous victory at the Cathedral.
He said: "We came here on a mission to avenge the defeat we suffered against Rangers in the reverse fixture; I'm not surprised by the result because we worked very hard for it.
"Rangers was the only team we failed to pick a point against last season, so we told ourselves after losing in Minna that the dominance should end, and that is exactly what we've done.
"The team has shown character, even without our top scorer, Joseph Godstime, who had travelled out, but the new players have blended well and are ready to help the team judging by the performances of Ismail Sarki and Adebambo Ademola."
