NPFL 25: Naira Rain As Green Rewards Rivers United

Rivers State Commissioner for Sports, Barr. Chris Green has rewarded Rivers United for their fine start to the NPFL campaign, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

It was gathered that Green, who was pitch side for the match day three NPFL clash with Lobi Stars rewarded the management with N500, 000, N1million to the technical crew and N2million to the players.

They were also rewarded for the win against Heartland FC in Port Harcourt. The team got N2million while the technical crew got N1million.

Following the away win in Lafia City Stadium, Rivers United have moved to the top of the NPFL standings.
