NPFL 25: Nasarawa United Deserved To Beat Remo Stars - Ogunmodede Insists

Remo Stars head coach, Daniel Ogunmodede has insisted that Nasarawa United deserved to beat his side in a match day 26 NPFL encounter, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Anas Yusuf's 14th goal of the campaign condemned the league leaders to a 1-0 defeat at the Lafia City Stadium.

In his post-match reactions, Ogunmodede explained that the hosts gave their best to deserve the three points, adding that his side didn't create many chances in the game.

"We did our best in the game today, but the outcome wasn't good enough for us. Nasarawa United needed the points more than us. They played very well today, and I am still surprised to see them where they are on the league table.

 "They gave their best and got what they worked for. We didn't create so many chances; I think they deserved the win."
