Yemi Olanrewaju of Enyimba FC has said that the pressure is on his side to pick the maximum points against Bayelsa United, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The People's Elephants will on Sunday visit the Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenegoa to trade tackles with the Prosperity Boys in a match day 10 2024/2025 NPFL clash.
Olanrewaju said the Aba Giants will hope to carry the winning momentum into the first game of November adding that he anticipates a difficult game from the Yenegoa side.
"We know it's going to be a difficult game. We won the last time in Yenegoa, and this time,e, you know they would be double prepared.
"But we know what is at stake as well. So, we are going there with a lot of determination and hope to get the maximum points.
"We are not going to defend and sit back, we are going to attack them and aim for the maximum points.
"We know it's a difficult ground to play. It's a small pitch and we don't know them much due to lots of changes. They have a new Coach and a lot of new players. We don't know them much like last season we knew most of their important players.
"Having won the last game at home, we want to complement on the last three points at home but we know it's going be tough.
"Almost all the teams who play Enyimba play above their strength. That is why they play us with everything, and in their next game, you see them struggling sometimes.
"Yeah But, it is what it is. When you are playing a bigger side, you don't have anything to lose. So, the pressure is on us to get the three maximum points."
