NPFL 25: Sunshine Stars, Shooting Stars Clash Gets New Date, Venue

The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has announced changes in the match-day 16 fixture between Sunshine Stars and Shooting Stars of Ibadan, BSNSports.com.ng reports.  

Going by the new arrangement, the South-West derby, initially slated for Sunday, December 8, will now hold 24 hours earlier, on Saturday, December 7.

In addition, the encounter will take place at Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne, instead of Otunba Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu-Ode. 

Kick-off time of 4pm however, remains unchanged. 

The new development was revealed through a letter by the league organising body, dated 3rd December, 2024 and signed by Davidson Owumi, NPFL Chief Operating Officer (COO).
