NPFL 25: Uyo, Ibadan To Hosts Matches Under Floodlights

The board of the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, has announced that two matches for Matchday four in the 2024/2025 season will be played under the floodlights, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

This was contained in a letter addressed to club Chairmen and General Managers signed by the league's Chief Operating Officer, Davidson Owumi. According to the CEO, the Godswill Akpabio International in Uyo will host the Akwa United and Sunshine Stars slated for 5:30pm on 28th September, 2024. The game between Shooting Stars and Heartland FC at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan will also be played under the floodlights beginning from 5:30pm on 29th September, 2024. Also, the game involving Ikorodu City FC and Nasarawa United will begin at 3pm on 28th September, 2024 while the Rivers United and Enyimba FC encounter holds at 3pm on 29th September, 2024. Other Matchday four matches has been slated for 4pm on 29th September, 2024.
