Gbenga Ogunbote of Shooting Stars has revealed what the 1-1 draw with Enyimba FC meant for his team in the ongoing 2024/2025 NPFL season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The People's Elephant came from a goal down to pick a point against the visitors in a keenly contested match day 26 encounter at the Enyimba Stadium Aba.

In his post-match thoughts, Ogunbote described the result as priceless adding that it was a beautiful point on the road.

He reiterated the efforts of his team in actualizing their goal of picking the continental ticket at the end of the season.

He said: "It was a beautiful point on the road. At this very moment, the result is a priceless one but you cannot estimate. Without this point, only God knows what position we would have occupied.

 "We ought to have wrapped up the game in the first half but sometimes your best moments will not give you the best result. We take the positives from it, learn from it and we pray not to make such errors any longer.

"At the beginning, I did say that the target is to get a continental slot, if anything better comes up, we will gladly take it but our target is to get a continental slot."
