NPFL 26: "Kano Pillars Want To Make A Statement" - Evans Ogenyi

Newly appointed Technical Adviser of Kano Pillars, Evans Ogenyi has declared that his side wants to make a statement in the upcoming 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Ogenyi assured fans of the Sai Masu Gida side that they won't disappoint them, noting that the team is still a work in progress, having concluded their pre-season preparations.

According to Ogenyi, "I am grateful for the efforts they put in, but it's still a work in progress. We will still go back and work harder because we are facing a marathon league. I want to assure our fans that we won't disappoint them. We will play each game with every sense of responsibility. We want to make a statement in the NPFL."

The return of key players Abdullahi Musa, Manu Idris Fagge, and goalkeeper Galadima Muhammad, along with new signing Ozor Chinedu, has further strengthened the squad ahead of the NPFL 2025/26 kickoff later this month, with final league fixtures already confirmed.
